I would highly recommend if you do decide to go from mid June on, that you book ahead as much as possible so that you don't waste your days/nights looking for available hostels/hotels. I would start looking in late November, ..... and it used to me much more expensive. Age has less to do with this than most people imagine unless the college-age posters are solely into juvenile activities -- in which case it's not hard to pinpoint the juvenile party places in Europe. ...
